"Why so Serious?"
This is a high quality 8" x 8" print from an original mixed media painting by Tina Lawver
*note of inspiration from the artist
"This is one of those images that will always create a little smile for me. I was working through a time that I believe hits the life of an artist and others more often than we'd like to admit. Comparison is a creativity killer but overcoming it is so freeing. At this particular moment, I was looking at the art of others I admire and doing that destructive self talk that says (you're not good enough) I giggled as I got peace and got this image. Chickadees are my favorite and everyone can and should be creating within their own calling...there is room for everyone. You do what you were created to do and I'll just be a little chickadee swinging on my paintbrush swing. This was a joyful moment for this artist. Letting go of comparison and creating freely. Tina"
