"It has become more in focus in recent weeks how much effect our day to day, in the moment, choices have on our destiny. Legacies are built on those daily decisions of those who've gone before us and what we decide to do with precious passing moments right now. The inspiration for this piece began with an image of an older, wiser hand leading and guiding a younger innocent and curious hand. One needs the other and something strong is being built here in this moment. There is so much symbolism in this piece as I was journaling and processing through this important creation"
